Our micro-credentialing course, Module I: Philosophy, Strategies & Techniques, was developed for instructors to reach and teach exceptional education students by providing therapeutic education strategies, interventions, and resources to unlock brain potential. As taught by industry leaders and ESE professionals, this dynamic multi-series video training deep dives into unique aspects of exceptional education to strengthen instructor’s skills and promote collaboration with a student’s core team. Instructors will be inspired and empowered to successfully integrate aspects of NLM Core Values and Social Emotional Learning.

MC-NLM-Choice-9-Recognize My Potential
Instructors will be provided examples of how to facilitate opportunities of choice for each student. Ms. Savannah will discuss why and how to provide these opportunities regardless of learning and language differences. Concepts provided will encourage participation and independence.
MC-NLM-Choice-10-Empower My Choice
Mr. Jared will discuss aspects of instructional delivery such as processing time, modeling, redirection, sequencing, and questioning. Instructors will be guided on how to optimize learning circuits for exceptional education students.
Instructors will learn how to maximize learning potential and language. Ms. Cris will provide tips, tricks, and specific examples of how to implement a more conducive environment for communication and learning.
MC-NLM-Choice-12-Processing & Wait Time
In this video, instructors will learn how to troubleshoot for students struggling to engage while learning. Instructors will be provided multiple techniques to motivate. They will also learn how to successfully assess a student’s progress.
